I am Lindsay Wintermute, half day preschool teacher in my second year with Troy 30c. I graduated from Northern Illinois University with a bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education, with a Special Education approval. More recently, I earned my English as a Second Language (ESL) endorsement from Lewis University. I have been working as a preschool special and regular education teacher, as well as an interventionist for Kindergarten through fifth grade students, for nearly fifteen years.
Personally, I have been married to my husband, Ron, for 25 years. We have two children, Molly, 21 and Jacob, 18.
My educational philosophy is strongly rooted in building a solid relationship with each of my students. I believe students learn best when they feel safe and welcomed. I further believe that parents and teachers are a team, working together for the best education experience for your child.
